OPENING MESSAGE
- It is customary that the meeting opens with either an INVOCATION, INSPIRATION or an EXHORTATION of max. 2 minutes.
The Vice-President Education has a collection of cards you may use. Preferably do not read so you won't lose the
effectiveness of the message.
INVOCATION
- to invoke the presence of a higher power.
- a prayer.
- NO APPLAUSE!!
INSPIRATION
- inspirational words of wisdom quoted or original. You may use prose or poetry.
- a thought provoking statement.
- APPLAUSE.
EXHORTATION
- has to do with encouragement, motivation or a strong urging.
- APPLAUSE.
