Speaker Evaluator
Some points to remember when evaluating speakers:
- Get the speaker's manual before the meeting begins
- The speaker presents a speech based on the objectives stated in the manual. Read the manual's explanation of the objectives and of how to evaluate the speech.
- Begin the evaluation by mentioning the objectives of the speech to the audience
- Use the SANDWICH technique in your evaluation:
A good point + a point for improvement + words of encouragement or a compliment - Providing a point for improvement is always favorable
- Don't direct your evaluation to the speaker only. Although you are evaluating a speaker, your evaluation is for the whole audience.
