It was about a year ago when I first visited the Rich-Del Toastmasters Club here in Richmond. I was really impressed by the friendly atmosphere and the warm reception I received. I joined the club after my second visit.
Today, I have become a better speaker. Although I still have a long way to go, I now have more confidence when it comes to public speaking. If you want to improve on your communication skills like me, you should consider joining a Toastmasters Club. Regardless of your ethnic background and ability to speak English, you are welcomed to join a Toastmasters Club as long as you are at least 18 years of age.
In a Toastmasters Club, you can make all kinds of mistakes, yet you have nothing to lose except for your fear of public speaking.
